What we store
We store your account email and any account name you provide, workspace settings and membership information, catalog products and learned names, customer records, pasted email text, orders and order lines, and uploaded attachments. We also keep an audit log of important workspace changes and order decisions.
How we use and protect data
We use this information to operate your order desk: read orders from pasted email text and spreadsheets, match them to your catalog, show issues for review, and record decisions. Workspace data is isolated by workspace, with access restricted to its authorized members and their permissions. No order is approved automatically.
Service providers
Our hosting and database provider processes information needed to run the service and store attachments. AI reading is not enabled today. The built-in reader processes pasted email text and supported spreadsheets without sending them to an AI model provider. If AI reading is enabled in the future, an AI model provider will process order text or documents only when that feature is used.
No sale of data
We do not sell your personal information or workspace data.
Retention and deletion requests
Data remains in the workspace while it is used by the service. Contact hello@alendesk.com to request access, correction or deletion of your account or workspace data. We verify that you are authorized before acting. Audit history is append-only during normal use; deleting a whole workspace also removes its audit history. Any legally required retention and provider backup retention will be explained when handling your request.
Cookies and local preferences
Cookies are used only for sign-in and maintaining your session, not advertising or tracking. Your browser also stores session information, your theme preference and your active workspace selection locally.
